No irrigation. No fertilizer. No pesticides. No deforestation.
No freshwater consumption. No tractors crossing fields.
Only sunlight. Seawater. And time.
Kelp grows faster than almost any large organism on Earth.
It creates habitat for fish.
Shelter for marine life.
Food for people.
Feed for animals.
Materials for products.
And in many places, healthier oceans.
Most people imagine environmental solutions as sacrifice.
Less. Smaller. Giving things up.
There is another possibility.
What if some solutions were beautiful?
What if restoration created livelihoods?
What if helping ecosystems thrive became a respected profession?
What if the farms of the future improved the places where they existed?
