This pile is less a collection of clothes than an ecosystem of human lives. Children’s jeans rest beneath workwear. Hand-sewn repairs lie beside factory stitching. Forgotten marbles, worn pockets, and faded fabric become part of one another over time.
Most of these garments survived years of work, childhood, weather, and repair before arriving in the same place. Together they reveal something easy to overlook: the things we discard rarely become less real. They simply become invisible to us. Long after their owners have gone separate ways, their traces remain intertwined, reminding us that our lives continue touching each other long after we stop noticing.
