There is something beautiful about imagining a life without walls—sleeping beneath branches, eating beside the grass, reading where the light changes naturally through the day. Nothing sealed away from weather, birdsong, wind, or the slow movement of the sky.
Perhaps what we want is not less shelter, but a different kind of shelter: one that protects us without separating us from everything alive.
