We are not kept alive by a single beat alone, but by a whole body in motion.
Field Notes
Looking at veins this closely, it becomes harder to imagine life as something static. Blood is not just pushed once and sent on its way—it circulates, returns, swirls, and keeps moving through us in a continuous living current. Even in stillness, the body is busy being alive.
Maybe that is part of what it means to be fully alive too. Not just to have life inside us, but to let it move through us completely—to feel, respond, expand, and remain open. The current is already there. The question is whether we are living in a way that lets it flow.
