Anger is not a failure of character. It is energy, information, and sometimes the body’s refusal to keep holding what has hurt, frightened, or overwhelmed it. The danger is not that anger exists, but that we are given so few meaningful ways to meet it.
Creativity can offer the feeling somewhere to move without requiring it to disappear. A canvas can absorb the force, color can carry what language cannot, and the body can express itself without turning against another person—or against itself.
