We built a world where “faster” became almost synonymous with “better.” Faster deliveries. Faster roads. Faster replies. Faster production. But speed is only a tool, and tools become dangerous when they become the goal. Every system that rewards shaving off another minute quietly asks someone to take a bigger risk, cut another corner, or pay a little less attention. It’s worth wondering how many accidents aren’t really accidents at all, but the predictable result of a culture that keeps insisting faster is always better.
