It’s one of the world’s largest lithium evaporation complexes.
No one designed it to be beautiful.
Every pond exists because another step was needed. Another channel. Another basin. Another stage of concentration.
Year after year, practical decisions accumulated until they formed something that, from above, resembles a handwoven textile.
Many of the world’s largest human landscapes were never intended to be seen this way.
They simply became them.
