What we stop fearing begins to walk beside us.
Field Notes
There are parts of us we spend years trying to outrun.
Anger. Fear. Shame. The need to control what cannot be controlled.
But the dragon does not disappear because we deny it. It follows us anyway.
Maybe peace begins when we stop treating every difficult part of ourselves as an enemy. When we turn toward what frightens us, study it honestly, and learn what it has been trying to protect.
The outside world does not become less wild.
We simply become less divided inside it.
