Every spot, hair, fold, and curve has a history. What first appears ornamental often turns out to be functional—guiding pollinators, protecting nectar, shedding rain, or helping a flower reproduce. What looks like decoration is often engineering. In nature, beauty and purpose rarely evolve separately. Given enough time, they become almost impossible to tell apart.
