Plants continuously sense light, gravity, moisture, temperature, touch, and chemicals in their surroundings. Instead of relying on a single control center, they process information through countless living cells spread across their leaves, stems, and roots. The glowing network inside this leaf isn’t a nervous system—but it is part of an organism that is constantly perceiving, responding, adapting, and solving the challenges of being alive.
