For much of human history, the people who understood seasons, plants, pollinators, medicines, soils, and stars often held places of deep respect within their communities. Their knowledge came from years of close observation—paying attention to relationships most people overlooked.
Today, that same kind of devotion still exists. It lives in botanists, ecologists, entomologists, Indigenous knowledge keepers, restoration crews, field biologists, and countless others who spend their lives learning how the living world works.
Perhaps our modern goddesses don’t live in myths.
Perhaps they carry weathered notebooks, kneel among wildflowers, and understand that every discovery begins by listening.
