Sometimes the deepest form of intimacy is finding another person in whose presence a thought can fully become itself.
Field Notes
Not every thought is searching for an answer. Some are searching for a place where they can unfold without being hurried, reduced, or made easier to understand.
There are people who become a kind of interior space for us—large enough for uncertainty, quiet enough for discovery, and safe enough that we do not have to finish the thought before we begin speaking.
