Nature does not tell us what to imagine. It reminds us how much is possible.
Field Notes
Most days, it was only a puddle in the road. Something to step around on the way home. But on certain evenings, when the light arrived at the right angle and the sky spilled into the water, it became a doorway into something larger. Not a different world, but a different way of seeing this one. Nature has a quiet way of stretching the imagination beyond the boundaries of the ordinary. A reflection becomes a horizon. A small moment suggests endless possibilities. And for a little while, the world feels larger, more open, and more full of wonder than it did before.
