Sometimes the desire to be loved becomes so entangled with fear and interpretation that we can no longer find the original feeling.
Field Notes
We rarely respond only to what is happening. We respond to what we fear it means, what happened before, and what we imagine the other person is thinking.
One need folds into another until two people are caught inside a pattern neither of them consciously chose. The tragedy is that the knot is often made from the wish to be loved.
