Many children paint, draw, sing, dance, and build things without worrying whether they are good at it. As people grow older, creativity often becomes associated with talent, expertise, and evaluation. Participation declines, not because the desire to create disappears, but because the fear of doing it badly increases. Environments that remove the pressure to perform can produce a different outcome. When success is no longer the goal, curiosity often returns. Creativity becomes less about proving ability and more about exploring, connecting, and contributing.
