Is it food? Skincare? Paint? Something to taste or something to spread across your face? The closer we get, the less certain its purpose becomes.
Maybe that is what makes texture so interesting. Before we name a thing, we imagine what it might feel like—cool, creamy, sticky, soft—and briefly experience it without knowing what we are supposed to do with it.
