Field Notes
Each branch carries a different history of color, yet none appears separate from the arrangement around it. They cross, rest against one another, disappear beneath each other, and emerge changed.
Relationship may work this way too. We do not simply stand beside one another; over time, something passes between us, leaving traces that become part of who we are and how we are seen.
