The rooms, corners, and hiding places that once gave us privacy can remain inside us long after we leave them. Dreams do not always reproduce those places exactly. They gather their qualities—the enclosure, the solitude, the freedom to think—and create somewhere new from them.
This little room offers two kinds of safety at once. Its narrow walls hold the dreamer close, while its height lifts her above the noise and confusion below. From there, she can be hidden without feeling trapped: alone, protected, and still able to see the whole world.
