Sometimes peace is not the absence of movement, but learning how to make a place inside it.
Field Notes
We often imagine calm as something perfectly still: no disruption, no uncertainty, nothing changing beneath us. But the river keeps moving, and the table remains.
Maybe a peaceful life is not built by escaping the current. Maybe it is built by finding ways to sit within it—present, open, and steady enough to notice what is beautiful as it passes.
