We usually think of architecture as the art of building. But what if it’s just as much the art of deciding what not to build? A wall disappears. A view remains. The sea becomes part of the room. The sky becomes the ceiling. Sometimes the most remarkable spaces aren’t the ones that add the most—they’re the ones that leave enough of the world untouched.
