Sometimes the only difference between a problem and a playground is who’s looking at it.
Field Notes
Children don’t arrive believing that rain ruins the day. They learn it. Before we hand them umbrellas, schedules, and dry shoes, a puddle is simply another landscape to explore. Growing up often means becoming better at avoiding discomfort. But sometimes it also means forgetting that joy has always been willing to meet us exactly where we are.
