Every living body carries knowledge it was never taught.
Field Notes
A cat does not need to understand the architecture of its tongue to use it. It simply returns to its own body again and again—cleaning, untangling, and restoring the small order required to remain alive.
We tend to recognize intelligence only when it can speak. But life is full of knowledge beneath language: a wound closing, a plant turning toward light, an animal tending itself. Perhaps some of the oldest intelligence on Earth is simply the body knowing how to continue.
