Sometimes a small life becomes enormous simply by passing through the right kind of light.

The bird itself occupies only a fraction of the wall, but its red color and long shadow make it feel impossible to overlook. Its presence extends beyond its body, as though the world briefly enlarges whatever arrives vividly enough.
Perhaps we are not always the size we appear to be. A feeling, a color, or a single moment of being fully alive can cast farther than we know.
