Human behavior adapts to the conditions surrounding it more readily than most subjects realize.

Subjects often explain their lives through individual choices while overlooking the environments those choices occur within. During observation, the architecture itself appeared to function as an invisible participant.
The room encourages lingering rather than rushing, encounter rather than avoidance, presence rather than transaction.
Many behaviors typically viewed as personal qualities appeared partially environmental in origin.
